ESD Journal is pleased to announce the awarding of its 1st manufacturing"Seal
of Approval" to
HERALD
DATANETICS LIMITED

HDL
was established in 1985, as a subsidiary of Herald Holdings
Ltd., a publicly listed Hong Kong company.
HDL
is a leading Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) of magnetic recording
tape heads used for the storage and back-up of large amounts of computer
data.
As
MR tape head is a kind of extremely ESD sensitive products, HDL has
suffered the ESD yield loss. In 2005, HDL selected the Dangelmayer Associates,
LLC as its ESD consulting service provider. In addition, HDL started
using Six Sigma methodology to improve the ESD yield loss and built
the ESD Program Management System (EPM). After a year, the ESD issue
in HDL is greatly improved and well under control
Now
HDL has become the first Class zero manufacturing company to receive
the ESD Journal Seal of Approval.
