When asked to give one word to describe Atrix International, Tony Strong, the company's Eastern Regional Sales Director, without hesitation replied, "adaptable". The company's unique philosophy of constantly changing their products to suit their customers' individual needs has, almost by accident, broken them into the ESD arena. Their efforts to meet the increasing demand of today's constantly changing marketplace has given them an increased sense of flexibility and adaptability to the "needs, economy and new elements introduced to the service and production process". They are constantly researching, implementing and changing the manufacturing process in order to create a better product.

 

Atrix was formed in 1987 as Tiempo Equities, Inc. with the sole purpose of rasing capital to invest in an operating business. The company as is stands today was formed when Tiempo merged with Atrix Tool and became Atrix International. Production began with a focus on manufacturing industrial service vacuums for toner, developer, asbestos and lead abatement. "Fine particle filtration--we eat and drink this stuff, so we have to do it better," is thier original philosophy. Today they also manufacture remote monitoring and control hardware and software for copy and injection molding machines.

Their recent addition of the ESD supplies realm was a by-product of research to develop a better product. What began as one customer's need has turned into a large portion of Artix's business. This proves Atrix's commitment to adability to an increasingly demanding marketplace.

The result of this commitment to create tomorrow's best product today, has earned Atrix a place at the table with the big boys of the industry. Competing with much larger companies helped develop this approach to the process. Atrix's ability to adjust to the individual needs has helped maintain the delicate balance to make their products perform consistently within specifications.
