Association Announces New Vice PresidentJuly

The
Electrostatic Discharge Association (ESDA) announces that Donn Bellmore, Universal
Instruments Corporation, Binghamton, NY, has been appointed Vice President for
the remainder of 2007, effective June of this year. Donn currently serves as the
Treasurer of ESDA, and will continue to serve in that capacity. Donn is also the
General Chair for the 2007 EOS/ESD Symposium, taking place September 16-21 in
Anaheim, California. In addition, Donn is Chair of WG 10, and is on the following
ESDA committees: Marketing & Communications, STDCOM, Steering Committee, WG
2, WG 3, and WG 13.
Dale Parkin has been on the ESDA Board of Directors
for four years, serving as Vice President for the past two years. He has been
a member of the Association for 18 years, and has been active in standards development
and Symposium planning. The ESDA appreciates the many years of service from Dale.
Founded in 1982, the ESDA is a not-for-profit, professional organization
directed by volunteers dedicated to furthering the technology and understanding
of electrostatic discharge. The Association sponsors education programs, develops
ESD standards, holds an annual technical symposium, and fosters the exchange of
