INTERNATIONAL ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE WORKSHOP
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The
ESD Association announces the second annual International Electrostatic Discharge
Workshop, taking place May 12-15, 2008, in Port D-Albret, France, and is requesting
abstracts for oral presentation.
Presentations for the workshop should
address the following topics: Novel Design Concepts, Special Custom Design Approaches,
Technology Integration Issues, Failure Analysis, Test Structures, Simulation Tools,
Component Level ESD Testing, ESD Characterization, System Level ESD Issues, Immunity
of ICs to EMI, and Unresolved ESD Issues.
Abstracts for oral presentation
should be two pages including figures and must clearly present the data and significance
of the results. Abstracts should be emailed in pdf format to iew@esda.org, no
later than November 26, 2007, and should include the title, author's name and
author's affiliation. The technical program committee will announce the selections
to authors on or before January 7, 2008.

a proposal should obtain a copy of the IEW call for presentations from the ESD

Founded in 1982,
the ESDA is a not-for-profit, professional organization directed by volunteers
dedicated to furthering the technology and understanding of electrostatic discharge.
The Association sponsors education programs, develops ESD standards, holds an
annual technical symposium, and fosters the exchange of technical information
among its members and others.
