Imtec's Electronic Component Identification Labels

MAXtm offers the unique X-Y Gantry to the Z axis allowing placement of a virtually unlimited number of labels per board, as small as .25" x .25" providing maximum identification flexibility. Additional features include Locate and Lock feature to ensure the printer is locked in place, Zero label Queue, to eliminate label waste, Adjustable Board Protectortm deflecting printhead up to 9.52mm, to prevent board and component damage. This new and innovative approach to automation can replace as many as 20 operators per labeling line with a single machine, assuring consistently accurate label placement to .0003". Complete with Pentium PC and ladder logic, the software interface utilizes Windows NTtm inclusive of Loftwaretm label design program.
MicroPlytm offers slow speed operations, print and apply capability for labels as small as .25" x .25" with speeds up to 30 labels per minute. This new and innovative Plug-N-Play approach to automation allows for installation online, or use as a stand alone system. When installed on line, start up is as simple as plugging in a photo eye to the external port, or connecting a PLC to an Opto 22 module.
        Heatshieldtm series of temperature resistant, printable polyester label materials, designed for high temperature processing environments, up to 450 F (232C) for a duration of 30 minutes. Ideally suited for manufacturing and tracking applications where standard polyesters fail. HeatShieldtm 450 can be printed with any stand alone thermal transfer printer, as well as Imtec's full line of print and apply automation.
StaticSafetm series of static free labels are available in both polyester and polyimide. These materials are designed specifically for use in the manufacture of electronic parts, including PC Boards, integrated circuits and related products.
