"I
am finishing my Industrial Engineering career. At this time I am working
as a co-op in an Electronic Products company in Juarez City, Mexico,
leading a project on Lean Manufacturing, that includes personal safety
and products safety. During my career I just had two classes related
to electricity and now I am getting updated with those concepts. I wanted
to establish a formal program to control ESD at work but I had not have
enough information for doing it... until I found your page!!!
It has been very useful, because my program includes technicians and
line-assembly operators, and at your site I have found information for
both (mostly for the technicians because basic information is available).
Keep it going, people like me are very thankful when finding sites as
yours."

"I
ran across your article regarding ESD occurrences in call centers. I
wanted to bring to light that one strong element which we are contending
with in response to this issue and that is that numerous end-users and
even manufacturers of consoles and call center furniture are also
becoming more interested in providing a better, more effective console/workcenter
with long-standing performance.
The introduction of ECP - Electrically Conductive Particleboard, along
with the newly developed Wolf River Technologies ESD laminate is providing
to be a viable solution in furniture in such environments.
As a vital piece of the ESD solution, ESD safe carpeting and chairs,
the actual furniture will close the loop of ESD compliance. Your article
is well-written and I wanted to keep you up to speed to current events,
in that various furniture manufacturers are working with our company
to provide that closure to that missing ESD piece of the puzzle.
Our meetings with the manufacturers along with the end-users (ie- call
centers and 911 centers) yielded the same issues as to what your article
cited.
We would greatly look forward to our discussions with you."
