BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- A north Alabama man was taken to University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital after a fiery accident at a gas station.

Harold Baskins stopped at a gas station on April 29, in Lauderdale County, Alabama to fill up his metal gas tank when flames started shooting from the gas nozzle.

The storeowner was able to use a fire extinguisher to put out the flames, meanwhile Baskins called for help.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
